                     Mohammad-Reza Mohammadi was educated at Isfahan University of Technology where he received 
                a bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 1999. He obtained his master's and 
                doctorate degrees in Corrosion Science and Engineering from Sharif University of Technology 
                in 2001 and 2006, respectively. He entered the field of nanomaterials through his Ph.D. research
                and continued it as a visiting scientist at the University of Cambridge, UK, where he developed 
                nanostructured and mesoporous TiO2-based thin film gas sensors. He joined the Sharif faculty 
                in summer 2007. His research focuses on synthesis and characterization of new classes of materials 
                and nanostructures, with an emphasis on developing new methods for synthesis of 1-dimentional 
                nanostructured metal oxides and ceramics including nanowires, nanotubes and nanorods.
