1997-1998: Seismic hazard analysis and preparation of the Site Specific Spectra for the great Qeshm island bridge.

 

1997-1998: System identification and retrofitting of the Ettelaat Newspaper's 7- story concrete Printing house.

 

1998-2000: Dynamic analysis and design of Kan-Do-Van tunnel lining (on the route to Caspian Sea).

 

1998-2001: A member of project control committee for Seismic Vulnerability study of the Power plant structures and equipments for the Ministry of Power's research center.

 

2000-2001: Involved in controlling the seismic analysis and design of Resalat tunnel in Tehran as a project control committee member of Tehran Municipality.

 

2001-2003: Seismic hazard analysis and vulnerability assessment of the Tehran oil storage depots (Rey, Kan and Ghochak) for the Ministry of Oil (As a joint project with Dr. Y. Bozorgnia, and Dr. M. Rahnama):

Seismic hazard analysis of different sites and preparation of the related site specific spectra together with vulnerability assessment of a large number of oil tanks with various capacities (up to 40,000 cubic meters), pump stations, control rooms, various administrative and residential buildings, large storage rooms, and the main connecting pipelines between these sites were among different tasks performed in this project.

 

2003-2006: The Strengthening project of the Tehran oil storage depots (Rey, Kan and Ghochak) for the Ministry of Oil:

Strengthening of various building structures and other industrial facilities such as Tanks, Pump Stations, pressurized vessels, main connecting pipelines, transformers, control rooms, and many other equipments performed under two different contract with Ministry of Oil's subsidiaries.

 

2003-2005:Vunerability analysis and retrofitting of the Ministry of Oil's Main Central Building (a 18 story concrete structure with over 21000 square meters area).Performing seismic hazard analysis, preparing the site specific spectra, performing various nonlinear static (pushover) and dynamic analyses, retrofitting of the building, the foundation and its equipments were among the duties accomplished.

 

2003-2007:Vunerability analysis and Retroffiting of the Tehran's  Main Mechanized Post office with over 40000 square meters area. Similarly, performing seismic hazard analysis, preparing the site specific spectra, performing various nonlinear static and dynamic analysis,and retrofitting the  nonstructural components and heavy equipments were among the duties accomplished.

 

2005-2008: Worked with Iranian Management Services Company in controlling various vulnerability analysis projects all over Iran.

 

2001-2008: A member of the structural subcommittee for Disaster Mitigation Center of the Ministry of  Interior.

 

2001-Now: Working with the Building and Housing Research Center (BHRC) of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning on different research projects as a peer reviewer.

 

2010-Now, Strengthening Guidelines of the Equipments and Nonstructural Components of Urban Housing, Under a contract with Building and Housing Research Center (BHRC).

 

2010-Now,  Evaluation and Damage Mitigation of Gas Pipelines and  Distribution Networks Due to Faulting, The Gas Company of Tehran Province, Tehran, Iran.
