Comprehensive review of environmental status of Shahre Babakcopper complex : (National Iranian Copper Industries Company, 2010)
In this project, after data collection about environmental status and past monitoring activities, environmental monitoring program and data analysis software is provided.. In air pollution part, mode of pollutant dispersion is estimated via air pollution modeling.

Spatial & temporal optimization of equipment acquisition and maintenance through automated internet-based databank of vendor-consumer performance databank : (National W & WW Engineering Co, 2009)
An internet-based data bank was designed for input of historical data by respective subsidiary W & WW companies in various geographical regions. Provisions were made to generate various managerial reports based on the type of equipment (e.g.mechanical, electrical, lab instruments, pipes), consumables (laboratory and process chemicals)y, unit operations/process location, etc. The actual field results obtained from real-world data were used for mid-range planning and budget allocations as well as vendor evaluations.

Optimization of Short-Time Research Policies in National Water & WW Industry : (National W & WW Engineering Co, 2008)
The research was commissioned by the National W & WW Engineering Co. to evaluate the past, present, and planned applied research projects in 30 provincial urban and rural subsidiaries. These companies are responsible for treatment and distribution of water and collection and treatment of wastewater. The data collected were statistically analyzed to determine temporal and spatial patterns. Within each category (wells, water treatment, water distribution,etc.), frequency of problems reported was related to the number and monetary value of research investments. The findings indicated lack or coordination and integration, poor implementation of research recommendation, insufficient central supervision, and severe fluctuations in managerial policies. The degree of compliance with National Company guidelines were quantified in research quality index and the companies were ranked accordingly.

Design of integrated environmental monitoring network and upgrading of wastewater treatment systems in Sarcheshmeh Copper Complex : (National Iranian Copper Industries Co, 2007)
In this project, an integrated environmental monitoring network (surface and ground water resources, wastewater, and air) in Sarcheshmeh Copper Complex (SCC) was developed. Moreover, problems of wastewater treatment system in SCC were assessed and necessary suggestions for upgrading these systems were presented.

Sampling and data analysis of surface & groundwater resources in Sungun copper complex : (National Iranian Copper Industries Company, 2007)
In this project, sampling from 83 stations including rivers, springs, natural and monitoring wells was conducted on a seasonal basis. Based on the spatial and temporal characteristics of collected data, impacts of mining activities on quality of existing water resources were assessed.

Environmental Assessment of the existing industrial plants and future priority determinations based on development plans and national standards & regulations : (National Iranian Copper Industries Co, 2006)
In this project, existing environmental problems in various copper complexes throughout the nation were assessed and necessary recommendations for improvement were made. Master plans were drafted with specific objectives to be reached (air, water/WW, solid/hazardous wastes) in line with the requirements of ISO 14000 series and prevailing regulations.
